Flourish is a small community, and we want you to be able to trust us with your details the way you’d trust us at our table. This page explains, in plain words, what this website collects, why, who can see it, and how to have it removed.

What we collect
If you book a time to talk on our Contact page, the booking calendar (YouCanBook.me) asks for your name and email address so we can confirm the time with you.
If you call, text or email us, we have whatever you choose to share, like any phone call, text or email.
When you visit the site, the server keeps short-term technical logs, including internet (IP) addresses, to keep the site running and secure, and counts visits in a simple way so we can tell whether the site is helping people. These visit counts don’t use advertising trackers.
Maps: the “where we meet” maps are provided by Google Maps. When a map loads, Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address, under Google’s privacy policy.
Why we collect it
Only to stay in touch: to answer you, to arrange a conversation or a visit, and to let you know about gatherings. We don’t use it for anything else.
Who can see it
- Our pastor and the few people who look after this website.
- The company that hosts the website, which stores it on its servers in order to run the site for us.
- The services named on this page (YouCanBook.me for bookings, Google for maps, and Akismet, which checks messages sent through the site for spam), each under its own privacy policy.
We never sell, rent or swap your details, and we don’t share them with anyone for marketing. We won’t share who comes to Flourish, or what you tell us, with anyone without your permission.
No advertising tracking
There are no advertising trackers or Facebook pixels on this site. Links to our Facebook page take you to Facebook, where Facebook’s own policy applies.
Giving
Online gifts are made through Central District Conference’s PayPal page, so this website never sees your card or bank details. PayPal and the conference handle those under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details for as long as you’d like to hear from us. If you ask us to stop, we delete them.
Seeing, changing or deleting your details
Just ask. Email francisco@flourishworship.com or text 828-759-5888 and say what you’d like: a copy of what we hold, a correction, or to be removed completely. We’ll take care of it and let you know when it’s done.
If we ever change how we use your details, we’ll update this page first.
